Youth Activities
Welcome to the Youth center for this years Highlands War.
We are happy to be providing a safe and fun place where all the Kingdom children can come and play and learn.
We have an exciting array of activities planned for the children that come to the center. The Youth center will be offering arts and crafts, games, playground time, stories and puppet play too. We will be having our own A&S competition and many A&S classes for all the children. We will be working with all the A&S instructors and the Youth Combat Marshal to make this a very special event for all our children.
We will also be providing a safe Hang Out for the Teens to enjoy. Come and play games work on A&S items and relax in the “Teen Only” section.
We will be having a special “Magic the Gathering” tourney for all teens interested.

Youth Center Hours:
Thursday afternoon–1:00 pm to 4:00pm
Friday and Saturday;
9:00am to 12:00 noon
Closed for lunch Noon to 1:00 pm
1:00 pm to 4:30 pm

VOLUNTEERS AND YOUTH OFFICERS NEEDED!!!
In order to have this years Highlands War be a success we need volunteers.
Many volunteers are need to assist during the hours that Youth activities are running. Anyone willing to help out and come and play with us please let us know. For those that hold a current SCA YOUTH warrant we need your help. If you have any ideas for classes or a neat project you would like to share, please sign up for Youth A&S classes.
Children love to learn!!!
We are also looking for Musicians, Story tellers, Singers and other Performers. Please come by and share your talent with our wonderful children. Feel free to sign up with Youth A&S classes or just stop by and give a few minutes of your time to entertain the children. We just ask that all performances and classes be age appropriate. If you have any questions about Youth activities or wish to help out, please contact me.
